Great Video

Good morning, my lovelies. I hope your holiday was great. Mine was pretty good. I did lot's of homework. On Sunday I made mums with my mom and sisters. It was fun. (They aren't finished yet. We had to go to  youth group.) I feel like I talked about all of this already... well we watched this super great video. Here is a link.
Evolution vs God
It's like 40 minutes long, but totally awesome. After I finished my homework yesterday I pretty much just watched the baby and some videos on mascots (Some were pretty funny, others were lame.) and drove my sisters to and from the pond to go fishing. After that I got to call my friend while I did chores. (Gotta love headphones with a microphone.) Then I had to go to bed. It was so nice to talk to him. (It's been like four maybe five days?) He said that he hopes someone asks me to the dance because he won't be here. Part of me was like, that is so sweet, while another part was like, I wanted to go with you.
My dad also worked with me on the actions and commands for ROTC. Apparently we were really cute together turning and moving in sync. Mom and #2 took videos. LOL. Dad seemed so happy to be doing that with me. You have no idea.
I kind of don't know what to say at this point. Which makes this a useless post because there was nothing of real importance. Not even a poem. (I can explain. I turned off my poetic brain. I switched to using more of the photography and persuasive writing bits for school.) I might be able to write a poem soon. In math class I got two lines of a rap form of poem written, so maybe I can finish that. Who knows. You guys have a great day. I might print a Birdcrab today if I have the opportunity.
Wait. I did put something of importance, the above video. Y'all should watch it. 👍👍

How To Write a Limerick

Good morning, People! How was your sleep? Mine was alright. In my dream, my buddy Flash found my lost Starbucks gift card. He was like SWEEET until I told him it was mine. Then he looked a bit bummed. I (seeing this sad face and not particularly liking it) decided to make a deal. "Tell you what. You can keep the card if you promise to get coffee with me." "You do not have control over that stuff." He took my card and walked away. Fereal? Who does that??? LOL. Fortunately it was just a dream. I still have my half spent gift card. Now that we have talked just a bit, it is time to get serious. We are going to write a Limerick. {What in tar nation is a Limerick?}Hold your horses, I am about to explain. A Limerick is a form of poem following an A-A-B-B-A pattern. This means that lines 1,2,and 5 rhyme and lines 3, and 4 also rhyme. The lines labeled "A" are longer than the others and have the same rhythm. I will try to write a Limerick right now. (I literally...

Decorate a Leader Night

Hello. Today is Thursday. I wasn't sure what to write about to be honest. The past twelve hours have been a bit like an emotional rollercoaster. I would rather not discuss it right now.  So instead, I decided to talk about poetry. I don't really want to do that though. My brain is a bit mushy. However! I did find this sonnet by Shakespeare. I really like the last line in the sonnet. It just stands out in sharp contrast. I must show you. Here you go, Sonnet 65 by Shakespeare. Sonnet 65 Since brass, nor stone, nor earth, nor boundless sea But sad mortality o’er-sways their power, How with this rage shall beauty hold a plea, Whose action is no stronger than a flower? O, how shall summer’s honey breath hold out Against the wrackful siege of batt’ring days, When rocks impregnable are not so stout, Nor gates of steel so strong, but time decays? O fearful meditation! where, alack, Shall time’s best jewel from time’s chest lie hid? Or what strong hand can hol...

Lonely in the Crowd

At the sight of a title like that, you may be feeling...idk a little shocked, a little curious, maybe confused.  That is just the title of my poem that I wrote yesterday.  It has been long inspired, but had cooled down for a while. (I only write good poems if I am feeling the displayed emotion) Saturday afternoon I was either completely ignored by a guy I was trying to speak to or just unheard.  Either way, it happens a lot and brought back that same lonely emotion that inspired the poem. I was admittedly a bit angry because I hate being ignored, but I was also like,  "Ooh, now I can write that poem." I wrote it after church yesterday.  Here it is. Lonely in the Crowd Like an unseen mime In the unseen box I stand here, Invisible, lost. Unseen by those around Here I am Lonely in the crowd. All around are smiling faces That do not see I'm in the darkest of places. Can you not see me? Here I am Lonely in the crowd. Not for lack of...
