Fighting Frogs

Hello People. Good day to you. Today is Saturday, mom is taking us school shopping. I do not remember the last time we went school shopping. 😲
Yeah....
You guys remember the other day I told you that I had been challenged to draw a mascot thingy for the Fighting Frogs? Well, it has been accomplished. It took two days but I am kind of proud of it. The pool monitor that challenged me to it was so excited. He put it in the binder where they keep information like logs and whatnot. (Like in the little sleeve in the back so now whenever you look at the back you see my picture.) I feel so special. 😁 This is what I drew:
Hopefully the lady in charge will like it as much as we do. I think he needs a name. Do you guys have any ideas? (You should tell me your ideas)
Yesterday we went shoe shopping. I am really bad at shoe shopping. I don't know my "style" and I have really painful plantar faciaitis.  (I maybe spelled that wrong.) At about 9:15 I sat on the floor to look for my size in a particular shoe and my brain started shutting down. I was so tired. I almost fell asleep on the floor in the shoe department. I was like, "Brute Force, I need you to keep texting me or I will fall asleep."
My friend stuck with me until the end. LOL. He texted me until I went to bed even though it was nearly midnight his time. My mom decided on some shoes for me that are doctor approved, and she says are the most squishy shoes ever. She had me try them on. I do not recall being like Wow  but that is probably because I was half asleep and my feet were in tremendous pain at the moment. For a few reasons not related to the shoes. First, my plantar fasciaitis, it flairs up really bad after I swim and I'd been swimming. Second, I tore up my toes on the diving block, and third I burned my feet on the commute from the kiddie pool to the bathroom. Poor feet. Hahaha. I think that is all of the talk I have for today. (I maybe would have put something educational or a poem, but I haven't had coffee yet. I gave you a frog to name instead.)
Have a good day y'all. I will see some of you later. 😊

How To Write a Limerick

Good morning, People! How was your sleep? Mine was alright. In my dream, my buddy Flash found my lost Starbucks gift card. He was like SWEEET until I told him it was mine. Then he looked a bit bummed. I (seeing this sad face and not particularly liking it) decided to make a deal. "Tell you what. You can keep the card if you promise to get coffee with me." "You do not have control over that stuff." He took my card and walked away. Fereal? Who does that??? LOL. Fortunately it was just a dream. I still have my half spent gift card. Now that we have talked just a bit, it is time to get serious. We are going to write a Limerick. {What in tar nation is a Limerick?}Hold your horses, I am about to explain. A Limerick is a form of poem following an A-A-B-B-A pattern. This means that lines 1,2,and 5 rhyme and lines 3, and 4 also rhyme. The lines labeled "A" are longer than the others and have the same rhythm. I will try to write a Limerick right now. (I literally...

Decorate a Leader Night

Hello. Today is Thursday. I wasn't sure what to write about to be honest. The past twelve hours have been a bit like an emotional rollercoaster. I would rather not discuss it right now.  So instead, I decided to talk about poetry. I don't really want to do that though. My brain is a bit mushy. However! I did find this sonnet by Shakespeare. I really like the last line in the sonnet. It just stands out in sharp contrast. I must show you. Here you go, Sonnet 65 by Shakespeare. Sonnet 65 Since brass, nor stone, nor earth, nor boundless sea But sad mortality o’er-sways their power, How with this rage shall beauty hold a plea, Whose action is no stronger than a flower? O, how shall summer’s honey breath hold out Against the wrackful siege of batt’ring days, When rocks impregnable are not so stout, Nor gates of steel so strong, but time decays? O fearful meditation! where, alack, Shall time’s best jewel from time’s chest lie hid? Or what strong hand can hol...

Lonely in the Crowd

At the sight of a title like that, you may be feeling...idk a little shocked, a little curious, maybe confused.  That is just the title of my poem that I wrote yesterday.  It has been long inspired, but had cooled down for a while. (I only write good poems if I am feeling the displayed emotion) Saturday afternoon I was either completely ignored by a guy I was trying to speak to or just unheard.  Either way, it happens a lot and brought back that same lonely emotion that inspired the poem. I was admittedly a bit angry because I hate being ignored, but I was also like,  "Ooh, now I can write that poem." I wrote it after church yesterday.  Here it is. Lonely in the Crowd Like an unseen mime In the unseen box I stand here, Invisible, lost. Unseen by those around Here I am Lonely in the crowd. All around are smiling faces That do not see I'm in the darkest of places. Can you not see me? Here I am Lonely in the crowd. Not for lack of...
