Lonely in the Crowd

At the sight of a title like that, you may be feeling...idk a little shocked, a little curious, maybe confused.  That is just the title of my poem that I wrote yesterday.  It has been long inspired, but had cooled down for a while. (I only write good poems if I am feeling the displayed emotion) Saturday afternoon I was either completely ignored by a guy I was trying to speak to or just unheard.  Either way, it happens a lot and brought back that same lonely emotion that inspired the poem. I was admittedly a bit angry because I hate being ignored, but I was also like,  "Ooh, now I can write that poem." I wrote it after church yesterday.  Here it is.

Lonely in the Crowd

Like an unseen mime
In the unseen box
I stand here,
Invisible, lost.
Unseen by those around
Here I am
Lonely in the crowd.

All around are smiling faces
That do not see
I'm in the darkest of places.
Can you not see me?
Here I am
Lonely in the crowd.

Not for lack of trying do I
Go unobserved by all who pass by.
Yes, I have confronted
Each one, attempting to gain
Their attention.
Still they look right through me
Leaving me here, alone
I no longer want to be
What I am now,
Just standing
Lonely in the crowd.

Now, yesterday was slightly different from the norm, I wore this magical stuff called lipstick and was seen by all of my buddies.  Like even the guy that I (after an almost desperate attempt to be his friend) finally gave up on, sat next to me. He was wearing a bow tie and I just want to point out that bow ties are super snazzy. I love it when he wears a bow tie.  A girl even asked for my number.  (in a friends sort of way obviously) At youth last night we played some super competitive games. The guy with the bow tie that I was referring to earlier, he won most of the time. He is like good at all things sports as well as a lot of other stuff. I got second place one time. I was laughing to hard to win. In the process I got a rug burn on both knees, and one had started bleeding just a bit. If you know me, you know that I get weak with blood and the idea of pain. So I went up to my friend Fearless Leader (that is her nickname) like,"help." She fixed me up. She was seriously my hero. But she used like an alcohol swab thingy to clean the one knee. She said it would sting a little.  She lied. lol I wanted to cuss. (I didn't cuss however because I am a good little person.) Yeah. Well my siblings are up and #4 is sick. #5 is learning to walk. (she keeps trying to type for me.) #3 is uh... playing with #5. Dad is grinding coffee beans. It might behoove everyone if I stopped talking now. If today's post makes no sense, it is because I have not had coffee yet.  I really hope it makes sense. πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

First Post/ Finding Inspiration

As This is my first ever blog post, I thought this random writing rather suits the situation.  Enjoy. 😎   Here I sit, trying to find some inspiration for my pen to express on this page.  I close my eyes and let my thoughts sink into the depths of my soul in search of emotion.  All is pitch black, yet I can see; no, feel the dread beasts nearby.  Anger breathes down my neck while Ignorant Joy juggles knives in an effort to comfort Self Conscious who is weeping in the corner.  The more dangerous emotions I prefer to keep locked in steel cages.  To my left, Fear growls and tries to convince me to let him out.   Behind me, red hot Anger still heaves his fiery breath, singeing the hairs on my neck.  To my right, are Love and Trust.  By far the most dangerous of the group, yet also the most inspiring.  Together they conspire over an intense game of cards how they will soon rule the world.  I boldly approach them and twist the key...

Master's Camp 2018

Hey, all. I know that has been quite some time since my last post. I have had a lot going on. Even now, I have a lot going on in my mind. But let me tell you about camp. We went to Master's Camp at Alto Frio, (Which btw means like Cold River or something like that in Spanish.) On the first two days we learned/discussed how God is bigger than our tiny minds can fathom and how He can provide for our every need. Tuesday afternoon the entire camp was told not to use the water. There was something wrong that caused the camp's water pressure to go way down. At first they thought that it was a busted water line, but soon we learned that it was the drought. The wells where the camp got water from were nearly empty. Over 800 campers, no running water. All of the leaders met together to pray, our church group also met together and prayed, along with others. We knew God would provide. (After all, that was what we had been talking about for two days, was it not?) Sure enough, within hours,...

Legless Lizards??? What the Chicken Nuggets is that???

Hey guys, I have about seven minutes. So let's go! I will talk about yesterday later, but first I want to talk about today. This morning, I was watching Blippi on youtube with #5, and he was at a museum and pointed to this reptile which apparently was not a snake, but a legless lizard. And I was on the couch like: What the heck is a legless lizard??? Isn't that just a snake? Or maybe it is the serpent from the Bible...Maybe snakes were already a thing? WHO KNOWS. So we are going to learn about legless lizards if I have a chance to finish this blog post today. I would do it over lunch, but I have to go home for lunch because a certain person has my lunch bag.... (Love you, certain person.) I might have time after school, but I have to stay late to cover a club for yearbook. Busy Busy Busy. Soon. Soon I will have a life again. Alright. So yesterday, then lizards. My day began with mom gently waking me up, which was pretty cool. Then I had a cucumber for breakfast because we ...
